Along with the implementation of full day kindergarten, child care centres across Ontario are making changes to their programs to accommodate younger children. Terry Tan Child Centre, relocated to a different classroom and renovated another classroom in Eatonville JS to accommodate a 10 child Infant Room and a 10 child Toddler Room.

The new Terry Tan Child Centre was designed to maximize natural light and play space. The centre includes infant and toddler facilities with an outdoor playground. Service spaces were wrapped around the playroom allowing the children to be as close to the windows as possible. New millwork and a fresh colour scheme were integrated to create a cheerful and inspired atmosphere for early learning.
